Review highlights
Based on 378 reviewsWaterfront Grille is generally praised for its authentic and flavorful menu, featuring standout Italian dishes and well-prepared classics such as fresh salads, homemade pasta, and exceptional grilled items. Guests appreciate the casual, welcoming atmosphere complemented by attentive and knowledgeable staff, including friendly bartenders and an engaged owner who often interacts with patrons. The personal touches in service and décor contribute positively to the overall dining experience. However, some visitors have noted occasional issues with operating hours and communication, indicating room for improvement in service consistency. Despite this, the restaurant maintains a strong reputation for quality food and a warm, inviting environment suitable for casual lunches and relaxed evenings by the river.
This was a pretty cool find along the river! The food pretty good! It is causal lunch spot. The sweet potato and regular fries were great and the ranch was good! The chicken, bacon cesar salad was fresh and tasty. Will visit again to try a burger!
Fantastic local grill with distinctive Italian food. Great value and wonderful home cooked pasta and sauces.
Love all the personal touches inside the restaurant. The waitress, Dakota!! Was very knowledgeable of the menu and the back story of the place. She was very friendly. Got to talk to the owner Rocky!! I really wish we lived closer. Very authentic dishes
The food is the best in the northeast, get off exit 30, and go straight....you will love me forever for this advice! Make sure you order the calamari, Ceasar salad is to die for! The owner comes by to make sure you're happy, and the Chloe has to be one of the top five bartenders within the three counties! So come for the food, stay for the drinks!
Google says they were open. The restaurants voice mail said they were opening April 5th. Drove there and they’re closed. You might want one more accurate with your dates. Can’t give 1 star to the food because i didn’t eat there to be fair but it does fall into the service category and that’s a fail.maybe next time! Based on other diner’s reviews it seems like a nice place with good food
I first started going here because it was a central location to meet friends from out of town. From the first time I went I really liked it. The menu is really varied with full dinners down to salads and sandwiches. A vegetarian should be able to find something easily a vegan might be challenged.I typically get their antipasto salad, which is just what it sounds like. There is also a nice dessert menu and a bar. The service has always been friendly and low-key. The view is also beautiful. One recommendation: call for reservations, especially in the nicer weather. We have been shut out for lunch. At times they will also have large groups and once we could not get in.
I stopped to get food on a road trip, got lobster tails and spaghetti. The head chef came out to talk to me and when I got my food to go he instructed people to add more meatballs, sauce and noodles for me to eat later on in the night. If I could rate my experience more I would. One of the best if not the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
The food was excellent. My husband and I split the turkey club sandwich and fries, which we were glad we did because it was huge! The turkey was actual turkey breast and not the typical lunch meat served in most places. The fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting.
